GENERAL INTRODUCTION (Mechanical Engineering Center)

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING  CENTER

    Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a multidisciplinary technical university established in Hanoi on October 15, 1956. The Mechanical Engineering Center was established in 2021, originating from the Mechanical Workshop that was founded together with the University. The Center is responsible for practical training and laboratory activities for the entire School of Mechanical Engineering.

    The Center's staff has continuously grown in both quantity and professional competence. At present, the Center has 17 staff members, including two PhD, twenty four Master's degree holders, elevent engineers, and one highly skilled technician with a grade of 7/7. All staff members regularly update their knowledge and technologies and actively improve their professional qualifications and expertise.

    According to the organizational development plan and future orientation of the Center, it will gradually take responsibility for all laboratory and practical training courses of the School of Mechanical Engineering.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Providing practical and laboratory training for courses of the School of Mechanical Engineering, including regular programs, international training programs, advanced programs, and continuing education programs.

• Establishing partnerships and cooperation in education and training.

• Cooperating with other institutions, especially engineering universities, in providing practical training programs.

• Training highly qualified workers and technical personnel for enterprises.

• Participating in enterprise-oriented short-term training programs, such as vocational training for workers preparing for overseas employment.

• Conducting research and manufacturing industrial, agricultural, and civil equipment, including various types of corrugated sheet rolling machines, hoists, conveyors, packaging machines, powder food mixers, and hydraulic-electrical control laboratory equipment.

• Carrying out scientific research projects at various levels.
