RESEARCH AREAS

    Scientific research and technological activities at the School of Mechanical Engineering have developed strongly, particularly in recent years. The number of research projects conducted by the School accounts for a significant proportion of the total projects at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

    Other activities, such as the annual Student Scientific Research Conference, the National Mechanics Olympiad competitions in Theoretical Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Theory of Machines and Mechanisms, and Machine Design Fundamentals, as well as measurement skills competitions organized by Mitutoyo among engineering universities, have also attracted a large number of students. Students of the School have consistently achieved outstanding results in these competitions, contributing to affirming the talent and intellectual capacity of students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in general and the School of Mechanical Engineering in particular.
