Student Extracurricular Activities

In addition to intensive academic activities in classrooms and research laboratories, students also have a wide range of extracurricular activities and organizations in which they can participate. These organizations and activities not only play an important role in students' spiritual and social lives but also contribute to enhancing their learning effectiveness. The following are some of the major extracurricular activities of the School:
1. Youth Union and Student Association
The Youth Union organizes various activities in culture, arts, sports, communication, volunteer work, learning, and scientific research through the specialized committees of the University Youth Union, the School Youth Union, and student class unions.
The Student Association provides support and consultation on study methods and student life issues, such as accommodation and tutoring opportunities. It also promotes academic activities and scientific research among students.
In addition, the Student Association represents students' needs and aspirations, participates in providing feedback and recommendations on policies related to students to the University and the Central Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Students, and organizes practical activities to improve students' material and spiritual well-being while protecting their legitimate rights and interests through volunteer programs, cultural and sports activities, and student clubs.
2. Cultural and Sports Activities
These activities are organized and maintained by the School Youth Union and include:
Sports Activities:
Organizing and maintaining the School's traditional football tournament on a large scale, with 48 teams and participation from more than 90% of student unions within the School.
Organizing women's football activities.
Hosting chess tournaments.
Organizing the En-running Open Engineering Students Running Competition.
Cultural and Artistic Activities:
Maintaining annual events such as celebrations for Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) and Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), which receive considerable attention and investment.
Organizing welcome performances and cultural programs for freshmen.
Participating in cultural and artistic activities organized by the University Youth Union.
