School of mechanical engineering signs memorandum of understanding with CCTY Vietnam Co., Ltd.
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Truong Hoanh Son, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Head of the Department of Mechatronics; Assoc. Prof. Vu Thanh Tung, Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanical and Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Deputy Head of the School Office; together with staff of the School.
Representing CCTY Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. Hou Yanwen, Human Resources Director; Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Thuy, Head of Human Resources; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, Recruitment Team Leader; and other representatives of the company.

Expanding Opportunities for Cooperation in Training and Human Resource Development
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Truong Hoanh Son, warmly welcomed the delegation from CCTY Vietnam Co., Ltd. to the School for the visit and signing ceremony.

Assoc. Prof. Truong Hoanh Son emphasized that the signing of the MOU provides an important foundation for the two parties to implement specific cooperation programs in the coming period, while also opening up opportunities for broader and deeper collaboration between the School and the company.
According to the Dean, CCTY is a company specializing in the manufacturing of bearings and mechanical products, with operations and manufacturing facilities in several countries, including Vietnam, China, and India. These areas closely align with the training orientation and professional strengths of the School of Mechanical Engineering.
The School enrolls more than 2,000 students annually and has nearly 2,000 graduates each year. Therefore, there is a strong demand for connections with enterprises operating in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and industrial manufacturing. The School seeks to establish partnerships with more companies so that students can undertake internships and gain practical experience in real-world manufacturing environments, thereby enhancing their professional competencies and practical skills.
The Rector expressed his expectation that the partnership between the two parties would continue to grow, creating practical value for the School, the company, and students, particularly in developing a high-quality workforce that meets the evolving needs of the industrial sector.
CCTY Vietnam Expands Its Operations and Demand for High-Quality Human Resources
Sharing his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Hou Yanwen, Human Resources Director of CCTY Vietnam, stated that CCTY is pursuing plans to expand its manufacturing operations and establish an important development center outside China, with Vietnam being a market of particular interest to the company.

In China, CCTY has relatively comprehensive manufacturing and technological capabilities, ranging from mechanical manufacturing and surface treatment to heat treatment and various other technical processes. With a long-term development strategy in Vietnam, the company wishes to strengthen cooperation with universities, including the School of Mechanical Engineering – HUST, to develop human resources and promote training, research, and technology application.
According to Mr. Hou Yanwen, CCTY Vietnam has been actively recruiting personnel since 2023. However, as its manufacturing operations continue to expand, particularly with the development of new factories, the company's demand for high-quality human resources is increasing significantly.
In 2026, CCTY expects to recruit approximately 500 employees for a wide range of professional positions, including programming, mechanical design, heat treatment, surface treatment, and other technical fields.
As a company specializing in mechanical engineering, CCTY seeks to attract well-trained engineers from the School of Mechanical Engineering, providing graduates with opportunities to work in their fields of expertise and apply their professional knowledge and competencies.
Towards Industry-Oriented Training Cooperation
One of CCTY's key areas of interest is cooperation with the School in training and recruiting high-quality human resources. Through this partnership, students of the School of Mechanical Engineering will have opportunities to engage with the company at an early stage, learn about technologies and production processes, and gain a better understanding of the practical requirements of different job positions.

In addition to recruitment activities and receiving students for internships, CCTY also expressed its intention to collaborate with the School in the future to organize Chinese language courses for students, helping them strengthen their foreign language skills and improve their ability to work in an international business environment.
CCTY's headquarters is located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, China, with manufacturing and business operations across multiple markets. The cooperation with the School of Mechanical Engineering – HUST is expected to further strengthen the connection between university education and the company's industrial manufacturing system.
MOU Signing – A Starting Point for Specific Cooperation Programs
At the ceremony, representatives of the School of Mechanical Engineering – HUST and CCTY Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a framework for cooperation in training, research, human resource development, student internships, and recruitment.

The signing of the MOU not only establishes a foundation for a long-term partnership between the two parties but also opens up numerous opportunities for students of the School of Mechanical Engineering to study, gain practical experience, and work in a modern mechanical manufacturing environment.
In the coming period, the two parties will continue discussions to translate the agreed areas of cooperation into practical programs. These efforts are expected to strengthen the alignment between university training and industry needs, enhance the quality of human resources, and create more opportunities for students of the School of Mechanical Engineering – HUST to pursue careers aligned with their fields of study.
