On June 12, 2026, at Room 603M-C7, the School of Mechanical Engineering organized its regular Scientific Seminar, featuring presentations by two young lecturers from the Faculty of Thermal Energy Engineering: Dr. Nguyen Tri and Dr. Nguyen Xuan Linh. The event attracted significant interest from a large number of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students within the School.

On June 14, 2026, the 9th Traditional Football Tournament for Faculty and Staff of Mechanical Engineering Education Institutions in 2026 took place vibrantly at the University of Economic and Technical Industries, featuring the enthusiastic participation of eight football teams from various mechanical engineering training units.

After two exciting days of competition on June 13 and 14, 2026, the School of Mechanical Engineering Student Sports Festival – SME Sport 2026 officially came to a close, leaving behind unforgettable memories for athletes and spectators alike. More than an annual sporting event, SME Sport 2026 became a celebration of youth, teamwork, and the passion for sports among students of the School of Mechanical Engineering. The event also served as a meaningful activity in celebration of the 70th anniversary of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (1956–2026).

On June 2, 2026, at Room C7-602M, the School of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) held a meeting and working session with representatives from Fujidempa Kogyo Company (Japan). The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the outcomes of the student internship and research program at the enterprise, as well as to discuss future cooperation plans.

On June 10, 2026, at the 10th Floor Auditorium of Tạ Quang Bửu Library, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a ceremony to recognize and award students who achieved outstanding results in academics, scientific research, and academic competitions during the 2026 academic year.

On the morning of May 16, 2026, the opening ceremony of the 2026 Student Research Conference hosted by the School of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology took place in Room 514M-C7 in an enthusiastic, serious, and highly academic atmosphere.
