On the afternoon of September 26, 2026, the School of Mechanical Engineering (SME), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), in collaboration with Nissei Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the Closing Ceremony of Joint Lab Cohort 2, the Nissei Scholarship Award Ceremony – Round 2, 2026, and the Opening Ceremony of Joint Lab Cohort 3. The event provided an opportunity to review the outstanding achievements of a training journey closely connected with industry practice, while opening a new chapter for the 48 students of Cohort 3.

On the afternoon of September 29, 2026, the School of Mechanical Engineering - HUST, held a ceremony to receive a vehicle donated by Toyota Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. to support the research and training activities of the Center for Research on Powertrains and Autonomous Vehicles. The donation marks another step in strengthening cooperation between the university and industry, bringing practical technologies closer to teaching and research while contributing to the development of high-quality human resources.

On the afternoon of October 12, 2026, the School of Mechanical Engineering (SME), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), organized a talk show entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Modern Mechanical Design and Manufacturing” at the ground-floor lobby of Ta Quang Buu Library. The event was held as part of the Exhibition of Scientific, Technological and Innovation Achievements, one of the activities in the series celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (1956–2026).

On September 26, 2026, the September 2026 Graduation Ceremony was held at Hall C2, Hanoi University of Science and Technology in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the academic journey of the new engineers and graduates of the School of Mechanical Engineering, as they completed their studies and embarked on a new chapter of their lives.

On September 7, 2026, the School of Mechanical Engineering (SME), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) held a meeting with Stanley Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. to discuss the KITANO Scholarship Program for the 2026–2027 academic year, while exploring opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in education, internships, and career development for students.

On the morning of August 26, 2026, at Room C7-602M, the School of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding with CCTY Vietnam Co., Ltd. The event marked the beginning of a partnership between the School and the company in training, research, human resource development, student internships, and recruitment.
