🏭 Learning from the Classroom – Gaining Experience from Industry

Beyond scholarship support, Stanley Vietnam has been providing SME students with opportunities to undertake internships and gain hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing environment.

This is also a key direction that SME is actively promoting: providing students with more opportunities to participate in intensive internship programs, particularly 2–6-month placements at Japanese and other international companies. These experiences enable students to apply their academic knowledge, develop professional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their future working environments.

💡 Early Industry Engagement – Building High-Quality Human Resources

Assoc. Prof. Truong Hoanh Son, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, emphasized that with nearly 11,000 students, SME places strong emphasis on continuously improving the quality of education and strengthening collaboration with industry.

In recent years, the School has partnered with numerous Japanese companies to establish Joint Laboratories (Joint Labs), bringing advanced technologies and real-world manufacturing practices into education while expanding opportunities for students to participate in internships and research activities.
