Enjoy socializing – Sustainable Connection – Strong Development

    On January 17, 2026, at Maxping Sports Complex (120 Dinh Cong), the Mechatronics Alumni Pickleball Tournament – Hanoi University of Science and Technology was successfully held in a vibrant, united, and energetic atmosphere. The event attracted 31 alumni, faculty members from the School of Mechanical Engineering, and numerous distinguished guests.

    The tournament was one of the most outstanding sports and networking activities, contributing to strengthening the Mechatronics alumni community at the beginning of the new year.

Special highlights

     A remarkable highlight of this year’s tournament was the impressive participation of young, dynamic, and talented female athletes from the Department of Mechatronics, School of Mechanical Engineering, as well as other universities and enterprises. Their presence brought a fresh, inspiring, and attractive spirit to the competition.

    Throughout the tournament, Prof. PhD. Vu Toan Thang – Head of the Department of Mechatronics, was present to encourage and motivate the athletes, fostering enthusiasm and unity throughout the event.

Full commitment in competition – wholehearted connection

The tournament took place from 14:00 to 17:00 with the following categories:

  • Men’s Doubles: 10 teams
    Women’s Doubles: 3 teams
    Mixed Doubles: 8 teams

All matches were professionally organized in strict compliance with competition rules and fair-play spirit under the coordination of the Organizing Committee and referees. Exciting rallies and intense score chases created a dynamic yet respectful competition atmosphere.

Beyond technical and tactical competition, each match was a true Mechatronics-style connection, where joy, smiles, and friendly handshakes became the core values of the tournament.

Spreading the mechatronics community spirit

   In addition to professional competition, the 2026 Mechatronics Alumni Pickleball Tournament emphasized solidarity and intergenerational connection. Alumni, lecturers, and guests not only competed but also shared professional experiences, student memories, and discussed future community activities.

   The closing Gala Dinner was held from 18:30 to 20:00 at Nhat Phong Beer Club (809 Giai Phong), marking a complete and memorable day in a warm, friendly, and connected atmosphere, true to the spirit: “Fun Interaction – Sustainable Connection – Strong Development.”

  3. Mixed Doubles Champions: Le Anh Tuan (Thermal Engineering alumnus) and spouse
