1 Bachelor program is designed for 4-year period, basic orientation, wide industry training; To provide students with scientific knowledge-fundamental technical and professional skills to adapt to different jobs in the field of broad-trained industry. The Bachelor’s degree is at least 130 credits and a maximum of 134 credits. Upon completion of a bachelor’s degree, the student may work or study on the program of Engineers (≈ 1 year for technical sectors) or masters (≈ 2 years). Bachelor program is divided into 3 categories:
1.1 Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program, applied to the engineering sector, training oriented calculation, design and development system, technical products, technology. The Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hanoi University of Technology is considered to study the program of Engineers with wide industry.
1.2 Bachelor of Science, BS/Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and other equivalent forms, applied to scientific, economic, pedagogical, linguistic disciplines. Graduates of Bachelor of Science (and other equivalent names) who want to study the engineering program must complete the transformation program according to the second degree of academic regulation.
1.3 Bachelor of Technology, BTech (engineering), applied to sectors of the (technical) block of technology, application orientation training and operation of systems and technological equipment. Bachelor of Technology wants to continue the program of engineers in the field of training must complete the transformation program to meet the requirements equivalent to the Bachelor of Engineering program.
2 The engineering program is designed for a period of 5 years (1 year for bachelor graduates), applied to engineering, career orientation, narrow industry training (majors), complementing people with advanced technical knowledge and career competenments Intensive to be ready to meet the requirements of the actual work. The engineering program has a minimum volume of 156-164 credits for straight-school or 34-38 credits for persons with a bachelor’s degree and discipline.
