KYOCERA DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS VIETNAM DONATES OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO HUST SCHOOL OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

   Attending the ceremony on behalf of the School of Mechanical Engineering were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Hoanh Son, Dean of the School; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Vice Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duc An, Vice Head of the Department of Mechatronics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Quy, Vice Head of the Department of Vehicle and Energy Conversion Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thanh Tung, Vice Head of the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering; together with faculty members and representatives from various units of the School.

   Representing Kyocera Document Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. Maeda Ryota, Manager of Product Development Department 2; Mr. Mac Hung Thinh, EL1 Section Manager, Product Development Department 2; and other company representatives.

     In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Hoanh Son expressed his sincere appreciation to Kyocera for its long-standing support of the School. He noted that the Company had been a trusted partner since the School was formerly the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, actively supporting students through internship opportunities, recruitment activities, and industry engagement programs.

    He also highlighted that the School currently enrolls nearly 2,000 new students each year and educates approximately 10,000 students in total. With a large number of graduates entering the workforce annually, close collaboration with industry in education, internships, and recruitment plays a crucial role in enhancing students' career readiness and supporting the School's development.

   Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Hoanh Son highly appreciated Kyocera's continued support through the donation of two multifunction printers and forty toner cartridges. The donated equipment will contribute to improving the efficiency of the School's administrative operations and educational activities. He expressed his confidence that the partnership between the two sides would continue to flourish and bring greater mutual benefits in the years to come, while wishing Kyocera continued prosperity and success.

    Speaking on behalf of Kyocera Document Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Maeda Ryota thanked the School for its warm welcome. He spoke highly of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, particularly the School of Mechanical Engineering, as one of Vietnam's leading institutions for engineering education. He noted that many mechanical engineering graduates from the School are now working at Kyocera and have made significant contributions to the Company's technological development.

   As a leading manufacturer of multifunction printing solutions, Kyocera looks forward to expanding its collaboration with the School in research, technology development, student internships, and the recruitment of high-quality engineering graduates.

   During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Hoanh Son and Mr. Maeda Ryota, representing the two organizations, officially conducted the handover of the sponsorship package, consisting of two multifunction printers and forty toner cartridges. The event marked another important milestone in the growing partnership between the School and the Company.

   Following the donation ceremony, representatives from both sides discussed future cooperation, with a focus on expanding internship and employment opportunities for SME students and strengthening university–industry collaboration. On this occasion, the School also invited Kyocera Document Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd. to participate in activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the School of Mechanical Engineering, marking another meaningful step in the long-term partnership between the two organizations.
